Message Wow, been a while since I've been around these parts. Anyway, I had gotten into too much debt these past two years and not so much the debt that I mind, but too many different payments (4 credit cards and 4 personal loans), so I sold my Integra and paid off all my credit cards and I was planning on selling the Z, which would still leave $8k in debt to pay off. I was planning on selling the Z and just keeping my Cherokee as a primary vehicle. I figured that after paying off my debt, I would allow myself to take out one $12k loan (and no more credit cards) to lift the Jeep, but I've come to realize that I'll miss my Z too much, so I think I've decided to go with a much smaller lift setup for the Jeep which will leave me about $5k to fix the Z with (turbos are screwed). Anyway, I since the motor has about 130k on it and I would probably have to drop the motor to replace the turbos, then is it a decent idea to just swap in a newer motor (maybe off ebay) with like 35-50k miles for like $1800. My other question is how much hp can the stock motor SAFELY handle (ie: is it worth considering an upgrade to Sport 500 turbos). Anyway, $$ is limited, but wondering what my best options are.
Thanks, and sorry for the long post
